Prepare before your treatment
First, rinse the soft and flexible applicator with hot water. Shake off the excess. Then pick up the LACRISERT® insert by lightly touching it with the grooved tip of the applicator.

Gently grasp the outer corner of the lower eyelid between your thumb and index finger and pull out to create a “pocket.”
PLACE
Place the LACRISERT® insert by gently brushing it on the inside of the “pocket.”
PULL UP AND OVER
Pull the lower lid up and over the LACRISERT® insert, then release. Allow the insert to settle comfortably in the “pocket.”

Do not use LACRISERT® (hydroxypropyl cellulose ophthalmic insert) if you are allergic to hydroxypropyl cellulose.
